Results on Laser Metal Deposition process monitoring with the Optical Microphone published at LANE conference
XARION’s optical microphone demonstrated outstanding performance at in-situ process monitoring for crack detection in additive manufacturing applications “Laser Metal Deposition (LMD)” made by the Spanish Technology Center AIMEN.
The findings have been presented online at the 11th CIRP Conference on Photonic Technologies [LANE 2020].
