Local ultrasonic resonance spectroscopy (LURS) is a new approach to ultrasound signal analysis. XARION’s ultrasonic sensor was used for a LURS scan of a carbon fiber reinforced polymer plate. An advantage in characterizing the features of the specimens could be demonstrated.
